On 22 May 2015, Dr. Aaron Brantly briefed the House Financial Services Committe on “Financing Terror Bit by Bit.” Dr. Brantly discussed the basics of terrorist financing using digital currencies, how those digital currencies function, and how tools such as TOR and others can be leveraged to facilitate financial transactions.
